Chalk paint is a type of paint (actually, it's a trademarked brand of paint by annie sloan, but other companies have similar paints also) that can be used on furniture and other okay, but that's a side story just to get to the whole durability issue. Is chalk paint durable? in my opinion, this is the worst chalk paint problem and the number one reason why i don't use chalk paint.

Is chalk paint durable? in my opinion, this is the worst chalk paint problem and the number one reason why i don't use chalk paint. Chalk paint can easily transform and old piece of furniture, especially a dining table. Just keep in mind that the paint is very thick, so you may or may not have to repair chips beforehand.
